LEESBURG VICE MAYOR MARTY MARTINEZ ANNOUNCES RUN FOR HD29

LEESBURG, VA - Today, Marty Martinez, Vice Mayor of Leesburg and Town Council Member of 20 years, announced that he will be seeking the Democratic nomination in the newly created House of Delegates District 29.

“From coaching the ballfields of Leesburg to representing you on the Town Council, I have dedicated my life to the service of others,” said Vice Mayor Martinez. “With over two decades of service, it’s time to bring that experience to Richmond. We can build a Virginia where nobody is forgotten or left behind. A Commonwealth where nobody is hungry or unhoused. My vision is one of a Virginia that guarantees to us the ideals of equality and justice. I am ready to fight to make that vision a reality.”

“The new 29th District will give the citizens of Loudoun a unified and renewed voice in the General Assembly. Over the next few months, we will make the unimpeachable case for why Marty is the right person at the right time to fight for our community,” said Campaign Manager Nicholas Gothard.

Vice Mayor Marty Martinez is an United States Air Force Veteran and community advocate running to represent our community in House District 29. To learn more about Marty’s career of public service and vision for Virginia, go to martyfordelegate.com.
